Career Connect

Designing the visual identity for a student-focused career development program

The Careers Service approached us to help establish a visual identity for their new program, Career Connect. As the lead designer, I developed the Career Connect logo and visual identity, explainer video, web graphics and marketing collateral and coordinated its implementation across our print and digital channels.

  • I designed and implemented a logo design for Career Connect that responded to the client brief. The Careers Service required the logo to be representative of ‘connecting the dots’, drew consistencies with the existing Careers Service visual identity, and utilised corporate typography styles.

  • I led the production of an introductory video that simplified the concept and actions of the Career Connect program for our student audience. I developed the storyboard and animation, edited the voice-over, implemented closed captions for accessibility, and coordinated with the client to upload it to the university website.

  • I led the design and implementation of a range of marketing collateral aimed at introducing the new program to current students. The range of collateral produced included graphics for the university website, animated digital signage, social media graphics, posters, PowerPoint presentations, and a series of EDM templates built in Eloqua.
